There could be a few reasons your transactions may not update:
Types of transactions
Some transactions, for instance, credit card transactions, may not appear in the app because the banks often delay that type of transaction.
Whenever such transactions are added to the banks’ database, they automatically appear in the Mafhoom app.
Data updating frequency
At this stage, we are updating data regularly. However, later on, data will be updated every 24 hours for free users, and premium members’ data will be updated every six hours or whenever they refresh the app.
Connection problems related to syncing
Sometimes transactions may not update due to poor connectivity. In that case, users need to check if their bank got disconnected. Try the following steps to reconnect your bank account.
- Tap the Settings gear icon & Go to Linked Accounts
- Click Reconnect
- Enter your bank Customer ID & Password, tap Secure login
- Your account will be reconnected.
Connection problems related to authentication
The last solution would be disconnecting and reconnecting the bank account. However, Disconnecting and reconnecting the bank account will remove all the historical data. We recommend contacting Mafhoom customer service if you face such an issue. Email us at hello@mafhoom.app or send a message via the app.
Server issues from the banking provider
In some instances, server problems from the banks could hinder Mafhoom’s capability to get real-time updates. As soon as bank server issues are resolved, the app updates the transactions.
Bank scheduled downtime
Banks notify users beforehand whenever there is a planned downtime for system maintenance. In such cases, transactions are shut down from the bank’s side.
